<Chaviré - Là Où Les Puissances>

Welcome everyone, this is Duygu and you are now listening to the 12th episode of All Our Tomorrows End Today, a bi weekly music show we are recording in our cozy home in Berlin. The opening track was Là Où Les Puissances by Chaviré, a screamo band from Nantes, France. This 4 piece band has been active in France and Europe’s hardcore scene fore a while and allready released 3 full length along with EP. The last album was dropped in 2019 and then the group did some european tours following that. With pandemic they, like many other musicians, found themselves recording another EP called Miscellanées, which is actually an acoustic album.

Also welcome from my side to this new episode. The next project that we have for you is from Cuckhold Point from Orem, Utah. Under the name Summer 2000 Jacob West has recently released a new album called John Krasinski. This album features 10 songs and I can hear different genres from emo, to screamo to also some shoegazey vibes. The song we will play for you today is called Cereal Eater Status.

The next band we play is called Coma Cascada from, pardon my French, Besançon, France. They released their first debut EP in December 2020 called Et Apres. They were so kind to send us over a small presentation about their band, in which they name the first band we played, Chavire, as one of their influences, alongside bands like Baton Rouge. I am very eager to find out what will come next from them, and I hope I can catch them in some concert in Berlin when all of this is over. With this first EP they are off to a fantastic start. From this EP we will play the song Laissé pour mort

Up next, we have another French band, I guess 3rd one of the day: Among Tides is a screamo/Post Hardcore band from Le Mans, France. They released their debut EP called What doesn't reach the surface back in Sep 2020. I personally really like the whole record and found it very strong in every aspect. Firestarter will be the song we'll be hearing from that record.

And then we’ll welcome another screamo band, Rainmaking, from Portland Oregon. They recently released their self titled debut EP which they recorded over the course of last year. From these 5 song EP, we picked Drugs for today! Enjoy

I am happy to introduce the next band to you, which is Rai Liotta from Talavera De La Reina in Central Spain. They dropped their first self titled EP on Bandcamp on the 4th of February containing 4 songs which are definitely some good screamo/emoviolence. From this one we will play for you the second song

Up next is another French band in this episode called Coven. Their latest release called La chaleur nous accable was recorded in October 2020 and released on the 31st of January. The money from the downloads will be entirely donated to "L'alternative" of Montceau les mines (71), which is a DIY cultural association which encourages exchanges, open-mindedness and living together. We hope you will go and support them and this good cause. From this release we will play the song La violence

Next we have Dreamwell from Providence/RI. 5 piece band was formed back in 2016 and released

their debut the following year and got very positive reaction from the scene. Over the recent year, they worked on their second album and already released 2 singles from that upcoming record, Modern Grotesque which will be released of Feb 26th, which is Friday. We bandcamp lovers know what it means! Today we’ll listen to one of these singles, called Painting Myself a Darker Day.

And following Dreamwell, we’ll hear a relatively new screamo band from Russia. Ellengaest released their debut EP A Sense of Falling in January. From that record we’ll listen to Prolog! You can find this record on all digital platforms and can support their music on their bandcamp page.

The last band of tonight is called Floral Grey from New Jersey. We already featured their last song Scarlet in our 3rd episode. They already gave me a heads up a few weeks ago that something else was coming, and I am very happy that I can finally share this song called Widowed and Hot Glued with you. This song is quite a deviation from Scarlet, as they say themselves much less Skramzy. I hear much more shoegazey influences coming through in this one, and as a fan of shoegaze this is definitely not a negative thing. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
